The Process.

So how does all this work then?…

Well, its pretty simple really… below i’ve broken down the steps I take when creating an event illustration.

  • 1. Discussion

    It all starts with a simple chat. A phone call or video chat to discuss what you want to include in your illustration.

  • 2. Sketch Scheme

    Any information , photos and wedding details can be sent over. I then get to work amalgamating all this into a an initial rough sketch.

  • 3. Penwork

    This is where things really start to come together! Refining the illustration into a simple line drawing.

    <Revision stage>

  • 4. Colour

    It’s then time to really make that illustration pop. The drawing is then digitally painted.

    <Revision stage>

  • 5. Print, Package & Send

    Final changes are made. The high quality print is carefully packaged & posted and digital versions of the illustration are sent over email.
